The waterfowl season kicked off today. It felt great to be wet and cold again
Wasn't the most active opener, but we still had a great time. We managed a couple of mallards and picked up a couple woodies (after Scott left us). No Scott, I am not going to tell the entie story. We doubled our bag limit after you took off and that is all evryone needs to know!
On a personal note, the 2012 opener will be memorable for me for one other reason. Havested my fist duck ever on the pond! A nice drake mallard.
