In the last ten days I have caught two 9" YP and one 7-1/2", this is the first I have seen any of the YP since they were stocked. I did put 11 (3-5") YP in the pond at the begining of April that I got from TJ and then another 30 (4-6") went in the third week in April.
I was a little worried the heat this summer might have taken it's toll on them, surface temps were near 90 degrees with no aeration. I am pretty sure the YP haven't been eating pellets, just GSH, FHM, and the "other" usual stuff.

Nice fish. I think yellow perch are one of the most beautiful fish species with that yellow gold color.
As far as worried, Bill Cody and I have found the ones under 11 or 12 inches seem to take the warm water pretty good. It's the larger 12 to 13 plus fish that have a hard time but I didn't loose too many of them this year either.
I've had fish up to 8 or 9 inches in cages near the surface during the summer with no problems.
