Top frog is also called a Grey Tree Frog. Tons of them around here, several are residents in my son's playground.
Only tads in WNY that take more than one year are the Bullfrogs. None of those yet in my pond.
Lots of Grey Tree Frog tads, Toads tads, Leopard frogs, and Green frogs. Had an amazing toad orgy this spring due to the burst of warm weather. Brand new pond, freshly filled, and thousands of toads showed up and had themselves a party while I was finishing work on seeding and raking. Dragged the family down to see the event it was so incredible.
Tad development rate has much to do with water temperature and available food. They developed into hoppers really early this year since it was so warm. Now we see toads and all types of frogs everywhere, and I couldn't be happier.
