Visibility should not get much worse. You can monitor it to verify its clarity over the next several weeks. Weekly readings are okay.
Fish will do fine in 20" to 24" water clarity.
If water clarity does not get any better by August or mid August and you want the pond clearer then you can turn off the aerator for the season. Unvegetated and mud exposed shorelines will produce turbid water during windy days. The pond should clear up quite a bit in late August, September and early October without aeration. In mid late October the natural circulation will begin and contunue up to freeze up. After ice out the pond should be quite clear (vis 5 to 7ft). Start aeration back up in mid April of 2006.
