That is a really nice looking BG. It is interesting to see how round it is. Mine are no where near that round, but I wish they were.

I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease..

Nice looking BG... I am sure you've said it before, but what's the stocking and management history or this pond?

Awesome fish. Would be curious as to its weight....

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

No weight. Have to get a digital scale.
As far as management, aquamax, aquamax, aquamax. I have been continuously culling cc for 3 years. Have taken out over 400 pounds of cc just this year. Their spawns continue to happen. Greg Grimes put in my first cnbg just over 2 years ago. My bg before then were pretty much gone due to the cc. Since, Ive added cnbg twice. There are some beasts in there. More pics to come. Also have removed, unintentionally, 5 hsb over 8 pounds this year.

docg - 1. How big is the pond?? I am interested in the smallies in your pond. 2. Do you have any mid summer water temperatures for the pond? 3. Are there LMB in the pond? 4. Do you see young smallies from recruitment?.

The pond is 4.5 acres. I put smallies from nate through greg grimes. I think he was hunting with nate and brought them back. There are numerous lmb in the pond. I have lmb up to 8.5 pounds that I have caught. I do not have mid summer temps. I do have vertex aeration going 24/7. When I swim in the pond during the summer, the water temps over the aeration system is quite cooler than the rest of the pond. As far as smb recruitment, I have caught 2 smb that were about 4 inches. I'm not sure about any further recruitment. I built a smaller 1 acre pond and put 300 smb in it in the spring. That pond has no aeration but have had no morts this year.

There are schools of them everywhere. BUT, I have noticed a definite reduction in catch rates of the lmb.
