why not try some good old southern jugging or a trot line.I think in a matter of a few days you could harvest quite a few for the freezer ;)As far as jugging goes my friends in Tennessee would use a 2 liter with a trailer to a 20 oz bottle so we could snag them with a treble hook on a fishing rod in small ponds.
