Well, we are unique, and have the Gestapo up here.
When I sold my shop (property) which was situated on 1.1 acres out in the boonies. I had contracted for and completed a Phase III environmental assessment, which cleared my butt on any environmental or ground water contamination. I knew there was none from me, but actually having the records, the previous owner only did a Phase I (he lied). Best chunk of cash I ever spent. My partner coughed up the other 50%. (it was expensive, but don't want to throw scary numbers up
