I was thinking about attaching vinyl streamers to the bottom of my plastic floats when I build my floating dock.
Loretta you might consider using artificial garland if you can find it this time of year, I bought mine after Christmas at a Dollar Tree store, it was real cheap then.
It is holding up well after more than 3 years on my small artificial island, and it attracts many insects and small fish.
Doesn't the garland get covered with algae fast? Do you remove it to clean/service or just let it hang out all year, winter included (ice). I can just imagine all the food for the little fry and creatures that grows on it. Well done, I'll keep my eyes open for some. Thanks for sharing.
