Dwight, tell me that your house really isn't mauve..... That's what it looks like in the picture to me.
The deck looks great. I agree about the open under the deck in the country OR city.
I have never really understood mauve (is that French?). Our siding is a reddish brown, mostly brown. The concrete patio under the deck is a reddish brown too, but more reddish than the siding. Gail calls these contrasting, complimentary colors.
Thankfully the grass is green.....
