Yeah, my main concerns that deep were O2 levels and visibility. Once this thing fills up I'll get a better handle on both. At this point it's not possible to predict turbidity since I've seen numerous posts on here where ponds have started out turbid but cleared up as they filled.

The other thing is, as Dave pointed out, it may not stay at 14'. This pond does leak along the original creek channel, although it has slowed considerably as silt has been washed down from "gully wompers" on the exposed bottom.

In any case, I plan to leave a good portion of the deepest part cleared in case I decide to add some geo-thermal coils. I'm dying to find out if this thing is going to hold water and what kind of temperature gradient I'm going to get! Come on rain!
