If pulled slow enough, you might not have to pull on the top of the seine at all. You don't want to pull it fast enough to pop the bottom mud line up off the bottom, or make the top of the seine go underwater.


Ditto! It's easy to do it wrong and have fish escape out the bottom. Been there done that. Seining is an art and gets better with practice. I hear Lusk can work magic with a seine as he's had a lot of practice.
