Questions:

1)What guess would be your recommended slot size be in harvesting BG to get the best (most?) food production?

In your location 5-6 inch BG - Not the big males

2) What guess would be the size of LMB to keep in the pond to make this happen? Otherwise, harvest what sizes?

Harvest LMB between 8-11 inches and over 15 inches. You want to leave in the LMB (11-15) that are most likely eat the BG just under the size you intend to harvest and those LMB (2 - 8) that will most likely eat small < 2 inches BG.

Best=most is my way of stating the most pounds of fish that gets on the table on a consistant/yearly basis.

I was thinking there may be more than one slot range for one/both species concerned. I am a little suprised of the Bg size. I was thinking bigger, both in the ones to harvest, and then the ones you'd leave to spawn. Of course, now that I am thinking it thru, you would take a few of the females over 7" if they weren't the healthiest ones.
