i was thinking of stocking like 1-2 per acre there is going to be smallmouth bass and trout
i heard the pike will feed of the small bass/trout and in the end you ll have bigger bass/trout and a fat pike

Pike eat a lot of fish per year, especially when larger. I often see fish farms saying stock a pike or two per acre and they'll not only thin out your stunted "whatever" but will also grow large themselves. In rare situations, this may be the case but it's unlikely. Pike, can if the conditions are right spawn in a pond. They do it and you're in for a stunted mess of pike and little else. So if you want a pike like species, I'd choose tiger musky or even pure musky over them.

Also, you're going to lose many of the stocker trout you stock to pike predation. That could get very costly! The likelihood of trout successfully reproducing and then recruiting to harvest size in your pond is unlikely. SMB can be managed by hook and line angling. I doubt you'll need help from pike.

Our biggest pike in my state come from lakes stocked with trout. A 48 inch pike some fisheries workers had captured when collecting walleye broodstock burped up a 20 inch rainbow.

Unless you want your stocker trout to be expensive musky food I'd leave them out... Manage your SMB number via human means such as angling/netting etc. If the pond is big enough, say 5+ acres, stocking 1 or 2 per year or every other year and removing them when they exceed 30" is possible if you don't mind losing many trout to them.
