I am planning on adding a fountain for my 1.5 acre pond (max depth ~8 ft). My primary goal is for asthetics with aeration being secondary. I already have two 1 HP Gould well pumps. What I would like to do is purchase a 3 tier fountain head and make my own floating fountain. I was planning on setting the intake for the pump in deeper water about 150 ft from the fountain head. I would appreciate any constructive comments or criticisms.
