Diffusion aeration will maximize the potential of your pond One thing I have found with small ponds (I have three 1/10th acre ponds) is they can overload on nutrients rapidly and you can have an intense algae bloom that can crash or deplete oxygen at night. If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
