That can't be European rudd. These fish got bloody red fins. Try searching for it's pictures and you'll see that it can't be rudd. By the way, rudd has got different body shape. If you need something from Europe then ROACH could be the right answer. Right fin color and right shape. If it were caught in Europe then I'd be 100% that it's a roach.
I guess that your golden shiners are close relatives to these fish.
