I need some help on figuring out what these fish are.   Carp or GSH?

Top fin looks a little far back fr a Rudd.. Can't tell with the pic on an iPhone though.. Good call Bruce they got Rudd in Ok?

They are Orange Spotted sunfish, and a golden shiner male in prime breeding condition.

That can't be European rudd. These fish got bloody red fins. Try searching for it's pictures and you'll see that it can't be rudd. By the way, rudd has got different body shape.
If you need something from Europe then ROACH could be the right answer. Right fin color and right shape. If it were caught in Europe then I'd be 100% that it's a roach.
I guess that your golden shiners are close relatives to these fish.
