Since this thread has been resurected from the dead, I'll also add to it. Last winter I returned to GA and went night fishing on Lake Sinclair. We cruised from dock to dock that had lights over the water. My friend said we were coming up to his favorite dock where the fishing is the best. Come to find out, that dock had a Bojo light! To be honest, when I first saw these, I was a little skeptical, but I've seen the proof for myself. I'm a believer now.

Well tonight I will try to get some close up detailed pictures of the fish looking for a easy bug snack. We just installed some LED lights that are mostly for swimming and looks but really do bring in the fish. It is really brilliant to see. I had been told, and I see the sales pich over and over, that bugs are not attracted to LED, because there is no UV or infrared in the light it produces. Weather is it the colour or what I don't know but I do know the bugs are attracted to the light and when swarming stumble into the water. The waiting minnows just gobble them up like candy. If you wait long enough you will see the dark submarine perch swim by and the minnows just disappear for a second or two. It is really a neat thing to watch I just hope I can catch it on camera or video tonight. There is a few settings on my camera I didn't try yet. Link to lighting thread. Cheers Don.

Minnows video. Here is a video of the minnows. They really like the blue and green. When the lights go red the minnows just leave. The blue and green are the sweet colours. Cheers Don.

BUMPing an old thread.
IS Bob Hunnicutt still posting? Did he ever figure out how to post pictures of his bug light designs?
Condello, can you post your design and how it works?
Anyone else with pictures share?
Wickedinhere: It appears you have a junction box hiding out under the 4x4 near the end. What goes in that junction box? Does it need to be water tight?
I see the light in the first post was using CFL bulbs. I would probably trial a LED bulb unless there is something about a certain wavelength or color light that works better?
