Reconyx are the best but way out of my league..

Best camera that I've used so far is the Cuddyback Capture IR. Not the longest battery life, but the trigger speed is the best. I can get roughly 1,000 - 1,200 pictures from a set of 4 "D" batteries.

My Bushnell has a "6V" port to accept external power. I assume this means I need a 6V rechargeable battery and 6V solar charger.
I know this question may be specific to Bushnell but how do I attach the battery to the "port?" In other words, where do I get a connecting wire from the battery that fits the port?

From bushnell probably.. Moultrie might fit aswell.. A little searching online should answer those questions for ya..

DJ, I use a recharger wire from tools. A lot of the cams have a round connection area on the bottom. Plug into that and put alligator clips on the other end.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Thanks, now I've got to find the right size "plug."
The owners manual says the connector is a "4.0x1.7mm coaxial DC power plug with positive �tip� (inside pin) polarity (Radio Shack P/N 274-1532"

DJ, about 50% of the old chargers from worn out tools works.
