Hello all, I am new to the forum and wanted to state how excited I am about learning new things from you all. I own a two and half acre pond which I'm trying to enhance . I have caught six LMB weighing more than 10 pounds out of it so far but am looking for ways to make the habitat better. I think I came to the right place....again I'm glad to be here.

Welcome, EBR. Sounds like you might be able to teach us a few things. What else do you have in your pond - for forage etc. Tell us a little about what you've got and pictures would be nice. Did you release those bass?
Just do it...

At present I have bluegill and black crappie. I have tried to minimize fishing pressure but take 3 / 5 forage species for every LMB. All I have now are wood structures but am looking into some of the more innovative homemade fish attractors . I found this site while searching for farm pond management info. I don't have any pics to speak of but have released some of the larger bass back , one however I kept to mount , my largest weighing 13.5. Thanks and look forward to learning from you guys.
