Thanks for the feedback; I almost always do a search before I ask a question. My search did come up with a few posts on water temps and when to fert but my question, "Are proper fert treatments during the warm season enough to prevent pond scum from getting a foot hold" was my question. I haven't found any posts directly answering this question. The post from Lusk commenting on Southern Exellence did remind me that if a pond is always being flushed out, it will be difficult to keep it fertilized and as he mentioned small brush began to grow on this pond. I tell ya', that just reiterates what you guys are always saying about pond management being a total balancing act. Thanks
