I realize you're done; but wanted to point out that you can get anti-seep collars in two pieces that you bolt together and don't have to thread on or cut the pipe.

I believe I got mine from here in both 8 and 14 inch sizes. I think they make custom sizes too. No complaints and several positive comments from people helping with them who compared them to ones they normally use.

I read more attachments and posts regarding this then I can remember and have my plan for the spring for my own culvert repair job using the filter method....but one question.

Does the culvert lay inline / parrellell with the filter sand trench, or does it cross the filter trench at 90 degrees. It shows everything in the diagrams except actually laying the culvert in place.

I know this is probably so basic but some pictures look deceiving.

Look up tech note 16 nrcs and it should take you to a good diagram on pages 7 and 8. Imagine an antiseep collar 2' wide and made of sand
