Are yearly (every spring) fert programs in a pond enough to prevent the dreaded pond scum from getting a foothold in a 1-2 acre pond or is regular treatment something that will need to be done as well even in a properly fertilized pond this size. I have another question about water temps and when to fert but I'll save that for another time. Thanks for any feedback.
