I noticed this weekend lots of little, 0.50" dia, pine trees nipped off about 10" above ground. I looked but can't see any den entrances. Maybe I need to camp out on the dock and keep an eye out for critters. What is the best time of day to spot what I think is going to turn out to be a muskrat? Dusk?
