I have just purchased the Native Feeder, from Native Outdoors. I would like to pour my feed directly into a plastic garbage can close to the pond for convenience. I have heard that the feed needs ventilation to keep well, I dont see the difference between being in a sealed bag or a plastic can. If it needs to be vented can you puncher small holes in the can. Anyone have any input on this.
