Where are you located at? Here in Texas we are just starting to reccomend people to get feeders going again. A lot will depend on your water temps. To begin set your feeder to go off once a day for 3-4 seconds until you get activity. When fish start getting more active, say in a couple of weeks, you can bump up feeding to twice a day. Let your fish tell you how much they will eat. If all food is consumed within 5 minutes you aren't feeding enough. If food is still on water after 5 minutes your feeding too much. All of this can be adjusted in your feeder.

Bottom line: Feed what the fish will eat in 10 minutes.

In a new pond, with newly stocked fish, this early in the year - that may not be very much, for a while.

A new pond - hasn't filled up with fish. Food supply is likely to exceed demand.
Newly stocked fish - will be disoriented for a little while.
Early in the year - water and air temps will be low (very dependent on your location/climate - what's your 20?), with fish metabolism correspondingly depressed.

I'd try hand feeding small amounts, being consistant wrt location and timing each day, until they start taking feed well. Then fire up the autofeeder.
