Interesting reading Boc. I won't rule out a spotted, only because we've had a mainland angler swear that he caught a spotted bass. Since our lake is catch & release by law, we don't have it. To our knowledge, the only bass we have are LMB, SMB, and peacock bass (yea, not really a bass). I need to read up on spotted bass I guess.
