They are not a cure for gizzard shad or stunted BG. There are several lakes around me that have over abundant gizzard shad, stunted BG and 20 poound musky.

Musky, especially larger ones need cooler water refuge. They survive in a local river where summer temp pushes in excess of 90 degrees but DO is at saturation. In very large lakes, like in north GA they'd probably do fine. However, in a smaller body of water they'd struggle.

Musky would do fine on "southern" forage, that wouldn't be a limiting factor.
