We stocked our 1/4 acre pond in April with FHM, Redear and LMB. Have not seen any sign of them since except maybe half a dozen dead ones (3 this past weekend). It's a new pond with very limited vegetation, except FA. Plenty of tadpoles and bugs...not sure if any of the fish would eat the tadpoles.
Should we be feeding? I hate to spend money for fish feed that nothing is going to eat...but if they are still there with limited food, except each other, we're losing that investment too.

What size and amounts of fish were stocked ? Are yoe seeing lots of FH in shallow water ?
LMB and RES unless trained to eat pellets don't eat them much. FH will eat pellets but they should be small pellets.

The bass will soon run out of groceries. The fatheads don't last and the redears only spawn annually. You need some bluegills for an ongoing source of protein.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Your LMB likely have eaten the others. Stocking bream and LMB simultaneously is ill-advised. Stock bream in the Fall. LMB in the Spring.Bream will be large enough not to get eaten by the LMB by then

And Bluegills will take to feed nicely. +1 I stocked 1100 1-2.5" CNBG in my 1.25 acre pond this past May. I began feeding them about a month ago. I was having good turn outs at feeding time by the second day. Now the surface boils before the food even hits the water. I now see some as large as 5" with many YOY, I should have some happy LMB when I stock this spring.
