At what water temp will the BG still feeding?

IIRC the textbook answer is that BG will feed on pellets at the surface if the water temp is above 55 deg F. I can confirm that mine did keep eating below 60 deg F last Fall when the CC stopped.
Bill Cody warns against giving BG a lot of pelleted food in early Springs' lower water temps, which is advice I would heed.

Theo is correct. Feed your bgill sparingly and not all they will eat when water temps are below 58F. When still cold start the spring feeding gradually. Once the water is 60F and higher then full feeding rate is okay.
