Why single sex lmb? Wouldn't he want them to reproduce to keep the BG in check, He wants to raise big sunfish so wouldn't he want high #'s of small bass? I missed that part. I just saw the pond was .25 acres and thought the bass numbers would easily overcrowd the BG population and nearly wipe it out then he would be left with a stunted bass pond. That can happen absent proper mgt. LMB only ponds are not uncommon up north with no mgt.
