Due to visual problems (all OK, now) which made me unable for some months to engage in my afternoon walk and hand-feeding, I have nearly a hundred pounds of pellets left over from about June of last year. The food has been dry the whole time, looks and smells OK, and the gills are hot for the small test quantities I threw them today. But, I am worried about causing no blood disease by using the old feed.
Does anyone know if I should pitch the feed or if I can safely use it?
Thanks,
