Folks,
We noticed a fresh ribbon of Perch eggs in the pond tonight. Things have been really up and down weather wise around these parts since the beginning of March and we have been on the lookout!
My question is this. We would like to try and scoop up a ribbon and place it in a fish cage to see if we can give them a fighting chance. Do we need to wait for any fertilization period? Is there a recommended way of scooping them so as not to cause any damage? I guess I have more than one question! LOL
