So this is a question that is out of left field. I was hoping with all the expertise on the forums that I could get some advice.
I just had a teacher that retired, give me a setup that was used to raise trout in the her classroom. It has a chiller, UV sterilizer, pump, and filter. I would like to use the setup to raise some trout with the scout group that my son is in. Has anyone had experience getting trout eggs to do something like this? Or actually raised trout from eggs for one of their ponds? BTW, I am located in Idaho.
Thanks for any and all input!
You'll need an incubator to to hatch eggs or you can build one out of plastic liter bottle, some tubing, and small air stone for the size of your operation. It would be easier just to buy the fingerlings.
The teacher won't steer you in the right directions with some instructions. Did she leave the state or something?
