copper effects are multiplied in SOFT WATER and Reduced in Hard Water. Hard water has more Parts Per Million of particles for the Copper to attach to and therefore less loose copper is available. I am surprised no one brought this up because it is important when doing maximum curative algae treatment.
The concept of "copper toxicity in soft water" has been discussed numerous times during the lifespan of this forum - and even mentioned earlier in this thread (although relevancy toward the topic was questionable).
