I only added a second PLC for monitoring and automatic fault recovery... Plus a couple A-B PowerFlex drives for the regen and turbine pump's. I'll have to change the motors eventually, because they are gonna fry if I go much over 60Hz for any extended period of time. 0-400 available, so you need the right electric motor.

Sure will be interesting to discover my DO Supersaturation limits with side stream and these small turbine pumps.

I expect the first one to be sacrificial shocked , but I have a few more. smile

I don't think that was me Spinnerbait. Just don't want to take credit for something I didn't do. grin

Oops, I correct myself, special thanks to John Monroe on the eelgrass! Actually Cecil I find your post very helpful, so thanks!

Rebuild the steps on the back of my house.

Good morning Dave, I've checked the ships systems, and everything appears to be running normally.

Try to become more energy efficient!

Just got the electric bill and it is at $0.1422/KwH shocked eek crazy

I did know that it would go up "a bit" during the summer months, but this is pure crazy!

Yikes! We keep making progress at getting far more energy efficient -- and I only pay $0.0795/KWH.

Actually, I was quite surprised at the differences throughout the country for electricity. My F-I-L lives in Connecticut and pays $0.1806/KWH

Just getting ready to gouge us on "filling" the electric car. We will be happy as long as it is cheaper for electric than gas.

I was talking to my sister yesterday, and from May thru August her electric rates/KwH double. Why don't they just charge a standard flat rate. At least they are not charging individually by demand crazy

Glad I got the inverters to run the motors. Three phase efficiency on single phase. Plus you can program/control the heck out out of them for more energy savings while getting the work done.

Now I need the proper electric motors for the pump's and regenerative blower's (ring compressor)

After that, a Mass Flow Controller for O2, and a few more sensors for feedback, and I am going Cold Turkey!!!

White Knuckle event that will be, for sure! grin

I'd like to share my pet aquaponics system. It's a bead filter cut in two, using the beads along with pea gravel as media, and using an airlift (powered off regenerative blower from main air supply) to move and aerate water at same time.

On the veg side I have cilantro and cherry tomatoes, on the fish side I have bluegill, tilapia, crawfish, and fathead minnows together.

I love it. I am hooked. I have an OWS windmill in my backyard hooked up to a duplicate system. Need to post pics of it as well.

Love it Todd!

I've decided to go with floating raft myself.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

If I hadn't had the entire bed of my truck full of Todd's Tilapia, I would have taken that rig. I sat and watched the one he had by the tanks for 30 minutes.

Very nice.
