It was heavily emphasized with me to leave my spillway alone despite how attractive it appears to do things with it. Care was taken to ensure it was a virgin bottom so as not to risk a washout. That means it was planted and left alone, although I would really like to plant it as a wildlife foodplot. With a 4' intake pipe, I can't imagine ever needing the spillway in thee first place but as an old wise mentor used to tell me..."son, it only takes one".
