Last fall, I put Walleye in my pond. I got 10"-12", but there were some that were smaller, down to 7" that I know of.
Now I'll also let it be known to any noob's, that I had never seen a walleye, till I bought these.
Tonight, I went down to my pond, and threw out some AM 500, to feed my YP. The bluegills have been feeding, along with the GSH.Water temp at 51* at the surface. I was getting ready to leave,with the sun being below the horizon. In the shallows, where the shiners were feeding, I had some type of fishes striking and breaching the water.5 or 6 would strike and breach at the same time, in a school probably 20-30 feet long.
I couldnt get a good eye on them, but appeared to be 12 - 14 inches long.
My question, what are the chances of these being Walleye hitting? Do they feed and strike in schools? I've never seen anything like this in this pond before.
