We don't have storms up here that would dump that much fill into a pond that quickly. We might get the odd tornado, even that would be rare.Flooding from a quick snow melt is my biggest concern,but I should have adequate drainage to cover that. Just in case I'm planning to put my house on a hill created from the earth from the pond site.Plus the house will be 150 yards from the pond. There is a neighbor on the next mile road with 3 ponds and his house in the middle like a clover leaf.I think I'm going to talk to him and get some info on his do's and don'ts.
