Good luck. I hope it works for you. Trout in a pond are a blast.
Keep in mind that most ponds stratify in the summer and have cold water down below if they are not destratified with a diffuser. However that does not mean there is enough oxygen.
Your surface temp in August will be your best indicator of how cold your pond is.
If it was me I'd add some 10 to 12 inch trout and see if they survive the summer. It's not like they are terribly expensive.
