kingfish have we spoke in the past? I just bought over 20 tons of water soluble so LOVE to sell some to help with cash flow. Have you used water soluble in the past? Many folks switch back and forth and reality is you need to apply the right nutrients in proper amounts or maybe it is flow or alkalnity issue. Does not really mattter what from of phosphorus or nitrogen, key is haivng it int he water column so phytoplankton can utilize it. Water soluble is much easier and efficient and many times cheaper.

If your setup with large tanks to buy liquid in bulk and mixing tanks liquid can save you money. However if not most find it much more difficult to apply. You will need to mix 4 gallons of water to every gallon of pond fertilizer otherwise being more dense than water (11 lbs/gal) it cna quickly settle to bottom.

This means to Jump start bloom you will need to handle nearly 4000 lbs to fertilize your 80 acre lake. This is fertilizer applied at 2 gallons and water to dilute. Compare this to jump start with water soluble at 8 lbs/acre or 640 lbs. It will go right into solution.

This year we will promote the use of urea for first applicaiton. 10 lbs/acre. More ponds seem to be nirtogen limited in the early season. Also we have spend extra money to add micronutrients to the package. Some ponds just might need a little boron, etc. and that is what has limited the bloom in the past.
