A standard football field, including the end zones, is 3/4 acres. My pond is just a little smaller than that. I've raised some trophy catfish and trophy bluegill in there. I have to retract what I posted above. An American football field is larger than 3/4 acres. It is about 1.3 acres. Somehow, I obviously mis-calculated.
