Hello to all,
One of my ponds is about 1/4th acre. There are no predator fish in this pond only fathead minnows. Last week, I put an unbaited minnow trap in the pond. Today 1/7/12, I broke ice and pulled it out. In addition to the usual minnows and tadpoles, there were about 50 small sticks in the trap. Inside each of these 1 to 1 1/2 sticks was a green worm/nymph about one inch long and 1/8th to 3/16th inch in diameter. They have six sets of legs and white threads (gills) along their body. Never seen these before. Any ideas?
