My fish are fed daily with Purina by a auto feeder. When I hand feed off the dock they hit the feed as soon as it hits the water.
I agree that it is what they are used to because a couple of times I have put in bread after a cookout and they will not touch it!
Keep at it daily with a small amout of feed until they start eating it.
