You'll need an altered scale of perspective when touring Texas. It's 1,400 miles from Orange to El Paso (East to West), and the same distance from Dalhart to Brownsville (North to South).
Unfortunately for your visit, Sonora is known for oil and gas production rather than its fishing opportunities.
