It seems like anytime that an animal has a "snout", they use it for some kind of foraging activity. So I can really picture a YP digging out larvae by seeing a little puff of sediment puffing off the bottom. This would also continually release nutrients off the bottom to fuel algae blooms. Just like aeration in some ways.
