I have had huge amounts of geese staying overnight in the pond over the past few weeks. We just moved to the pond site and it's the 1st year I've been able to see just how big of a problem they would be. So I ordered a water based Away With Geese strobe light unit. Positioned it Sunday afternoon and as it tuned dark I heard plenty of geese in the pond. We went out for a couple of hours and when we returned I didn't hear any. Early this morning I heard 1 or 2 geese but it was dark so I couldn't tell how many were out there. There was certainly less noise overnight.
Hopefully the device performs as advertised.

I know people that would pay you to solve this problem for you. Would have to handle the sounds of shotguns blasting but a couple days of that and there would be no more geese using the pond.

Hopefully the device performs as advertised. I have had one of the Away With Geese water based units on the pond for around 3 years now. The huge flocks of poop-droppers that used to come through here don't come anymore. I set it out in the middle of the pond and it is there flashing 365 day a year 24 hours a day. Sometimes after ice out in the spring I have to re-position it back to the center of the pond as the ice back will move it around. That is the only maintenance I have done.
