I've let several nice deer go, because I could not be absolutely sure where the round would end (up if I missed). And, of course, be sure of where your buddies are.
Also, those who climb up into stands, be sure of your mooring and don't let the buck fever allow you to fall. An ounce of prevention and all that.

I passed on this deer last year because I didn't have a good shot, he was facing away from me. I finally got pictures of him in late January. (the date on the camera is wrong.) Hopefully I'll see him again this year.
