13oz fillet? That would put it at about 2.5 pounds live.

How was the pond algae Roy?

There was no FA in the pond about 2 weeks after you delivered the Talapia. A little has shown up around the edges in the last couple of weeks but not a lot. Water temp is down to about 59 so I am going to try to catch as many as possible before the inevitable colder weather sets in.

I was fishing in a pond that had Tilapia in it today, trying to do the same thing. There is AM600 also going into the pond 2x day. I had a heck of a time catching them on Stubby Steves, but had more success on a piece of a nightcrawler that was approximately the size of a pellet, on a #10 hook, about 10" below an ice fishing bobber, no weight. The Stubby Steves worked when the water was warmer. Temp today was 63.1 deg. @ 12".

They like canned kernel corn too
