So I guess it may just depend on the CC if they decide to eat the fish or not. I just wonder since most of what I have read on here they do not do much for BG control, but I think I have seen where they are supposed to be good enough for HBG, as many have stated for small ponds they recommend CC and HBG plus feed to get great results.
Do the CC take care of a high percentage of the HBG spawn?
What about CC eating GSF, have they been successful in maintaining them?
Can a CC catch a Tilapia to eat (before the water cools and slows them down)?
I just ask since I have so many CC in my pond and I have noticed that some are full of pellets and others just have empty stomachs which I find odd. Why not eat the pellets, I could understand not able to catch a fish but come on pellets, all they have to do is open there mouth and they are like Hoover Vacuums.
Just wanted some ideas on this.
